The slight satin sheen of the white, silver area of this brooch, is offset by a crescent of rich gold which sweeps across the form.
The 23.5ct gold is applied using the ancient Korean technique called keumbo and is fused to the silver surface.
The texture of the gently curved buds adds character and depth to the gold and silver whilst the space between the bud forms brings the background garment colour into the centre of the piece.
