This layered brooch has been handmade made using vintage book pages and illustrations taken from various books dating around 1800. Sections have been de-constructed, re-arranged and layered to create a composition inspired by the chaos and recollection of memories and a desire to keep these from fading away. Handmade sterling silver pins create unique fastenings that compliment the aesthetics of the work. Silver items have been finished with an oxidising patina.

Cleaning Instructions
Clean only silver items using a specialist silver cleaning cloth. Do not dip oxidised items into silver cleaning solution as this may damage the patina. A protective seal has been applied to the book pages, however due to the nature of the material the appearance may change over time. To prolong the life of this work, please wear and store away from wet and damp conditions.
