Brooch, with Gold Foil by Sheila McDonald

This is a unique design which features 24ct gold foil fused into the surface of the transparent enamel.

The design was inspired by a series of drawings made in Norfolk Churches;there are links with the beautiful wood carvings, stained glass and distressed gold leaf work.

The reverse side of this brooch has an interesting textured pattern

Designed and handmade by Scottish Jewellery Designer, Sheila McDonald.

  • Pin Type : pin
  • Dimensions (mm) : 40 x 35

Cleaning Instructions

Enamel is basically a type of glass, therefore it must be treated with a certain amount of care.

I recommend that the silver areas are cleaned with a Silver Cloth          (such as Goddards)

I would avoid using a liquid  silver cleaner as this may affect the enamel.
