The enamel in this brooch is built in layers with micro glass beads to achieve a textural and rough quality. The orange colour is most vibrant in the centre becoming mottled and paprika brown coloured around the edges. The enamel section is housed in a claw type setting with a cabouchon pink sapphire set adjacent to it in a rubover setting. The flowing wires are flattened and textured with a satin finish to the silver. This brooch is handmade and one of a kind.

Cleaning Instructions
Using warm soapy water and an old toothbrush should be sufficient to clean this brooch. A solution such as silverdip may be used but it is recommnded that the solution be applied sparingly using a cotton bud or old toothbrush to silver areas only. Avoid contact with the enamel as the solution may affect its surface, ensure thorough rinsing and drying afterwards. A silver cloth can be used on the silver but please be aware it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
