Petri wiggle brooch is made from sterling silver which has been oxidised to blacken the surface, the oxide layer has been rubbed back to give a softer finish. The surface of the brooch has a white, matt finish, vitreous enamel layer with spots of yellow, blue and green enamel. A number of silver buds pierce the surface of the brooch and are looped at the back so that they wiggle with movement. Each bud is enamelled with transparent vitreous enamel in either blue, yellow or green.

Cleaning Instructions
Cleaning the silver surface of this brooch will remove the oxide layer. Should the enamel require cleaning, rubbing with a damp cloth should be sufficient.
