24ct gold foil and fine gold wire has been fused into the surface of the enamel.

Cleaning Instructions

Enamel is basically a type of glass, therefore it must be treated with a certain amount of care.

I recommend that the silver areas are cleaned with a Silver Cloth          (such as Goddards)

I would avoid using a liquid  silver cleaner as this may affect the enamel.
