These keum boo owl earrings are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold and they measure 14mm x 20mm with a total drop length of 41mm. The technique used is an ancient Korean one, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. The silver has been oxidised to blacken it to contrast with the gold. We also make a matching owl brooch, which can be seen in one of the photographs.
