When making this contemporary acrylic handmade pendant I was thinking about new beginnings and the start of a new part of my life. I became interested in making egg shapes. Full of potential. I was looking at gold brocade when I designed this piece. I created the surface design using passion flower leaves collected from my garden. Then apply silver leaf followed by a coat of resin. So one side is transparent with the light reflecting off the silver leaf the the other has a silver leaf finish. It is hand polished so it feels smooth to the touch.
