Necklaces / Pendants
by caroline finlay

Individually handmade using the ancient technique of enamelling - the main pendant has drilled holes detail and turquouise enamel in a matt finish . Blue glossy enamel side detail and oxidised, matt, dark grey silver contrasts well.

The main pendant measures 3.5 x 3.5cm

Techniques used mean each piece is unique with no two pieces being exactly identical.

Features

  • Primary Material : vitreous enamel
  • Other Materials : silver
  • Length (inches) : 21
  • One of a Kind : No
  • Metal : sterling silver
  • Hallmarked : Yes

Cleaning Instructions

Enamel can be washed in warm soapy water if it becomes dirty. A little vaseline can be applied to all pieces to help enhance oxidisation and enamel colour. Vitreous enamel is glass and although pieces are fairly hard wearing, care should be taken not to apply force or scratch the surface.     Oxidisation will come off with silverdip, abrasion or household chemicals e.g bleach. Store in a box in acid free tissue as provided.
