Mudlarked nail brooch - oxidised green by Liz Willis

The mudlarked nail was handmade a few hundred years ago, and would have been used for boat building or housing. Liz has formed the oxidised silver to reflect the shape of the nail, then uses handstitched silk threads to join the nail and the silver together.

Liz Willis is showing an exclusive range of jewellery as one of our Lovedazzle guest designers. All pieces are available to purchase until 12th January 2025.
