Small silver pin brooch by Liz Willis. Tiny handmade pins were used to pin clothing and accessories on in a bygone era. The pins used are from mudlarking finds, and are hand stitched with to silver with coloured silk threads to make them wearable again.

Cleaning Instructions
The silver has been pumiced & then sealed with renaissance wax, so if pieces are wrapped up when not wearing the silver should not tarnish, but the silver can be polished with a soft silver polishing cloth if needed. The silk can be cleaned with a weak solution of laundry hand wash liquid, use it with a soft toothbrush to give a light scrub, then rinse & leave to dry naturally. An after care service is available if you are unsure of cleaning.
