Evgeniia is interested in exploring mechanical connections within different parts of a piece in her larger works. This necklace features a geometrically precise 3d print which consist of two parts and joins in the middle using neodymium magnets. The shape of this print is fascinating - it transitions from a circle to a square and back in mesmerizing continuous rotation. Evgeniia was looking for a way to create a seamless transition to silver in order not to disturb the smooth flow of the central part of this piece. The back of the necklace also features a handmade hinge, allowing the piece to open and close. The engineering within this piece brings an immense sense of satisfaction when all parts are fitted together, forming a continuous circle.
