Dazzle Invites | Hilary Grant

Hilary Grant is a contemporary knitwear and textile partnership between Hilary Grant and Robert Harvey, both formerly trained in knitwear design and architecture.

From their studio in Orkney they design explorative, innovative and expressive knitwear, including scarves, blankets and small accessories. 

They aim to challenge the preconceptions of what knitwear from a remote Scottish island might look like, whilst incorporating influences and principles from traditional Scandinavian craft and European industrial design ideals into their work. 

They work with a number of small, specialist mills in the Scottish Borders to produce all their work, combining both industrial design processes and time-honoured hand-finishing techniques in the production of all their textiles and knitwear.
