These halved earrings are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold and when fitted together they measure 23mm in diameter. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where the gold is fused to the silver. Letters and symbols have been punched into the silver by hand and the surface has been given a worn effect to simulate the look of an antique found object.
