These earrings are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one, where the gold is fused to the silver. The silver has been oxidised to blacken it to contrast with the gold. Letters and symbols have been punched into the surface by hand, so each pair will be slightly different. The earrings measure 10mm by 25mm.
