These drop earrings by Liz Willis are made using tiny handmade pins that were used to pin clothing and accessories on in a bygone era. The pins used are from mudlarking finds, and are hand stitched to the silver form with silk threads to make them wearable again. Each pair of earrings are a completely unique, one-off pair.

Cleaning Instructions
The silver has been pumiced & then sealed with renaissance wax, so if pieces are wrapped up when not wearing the silver should not tarnish, but the silver can be polished with a soft silver polishing cloth if needed. The silk can be cleaned with a weak solution of laundry hand wash liquid, use it with a soft toothbrush to give a light scrub, then rinse & leave to dry naturally. An after care service is avilable if you are unsure of cleaning.
