Handmade from fine silver sheet these earrings have an engraved surface which is overlayed with transparent vitreous enamel. The enamel is built in layers starting with the blue colour which is then ground back to achieve a smooth flat surface. Pieces of 24ct gold foil are fused into the the enamel surface with a further layer of enamel fired over the top. The earrings have a green amethyst bead drop. The silver has a satin finish with burnished edges.

Cleaning Instructions
Using warm soapy water with an old toothbrush should be sufficient to clean these earrings should it be required. Solutions such as silver dip can be used. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, ensuring it is rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
