It has more than a hundred times the amount of gold than gold plated jewellery. Under normal wear and care, 14ct gold filled jewellery will not chip or peel, and can be cleaned just the same as 14ct solid gold

Cleaning Instructions
Store your jewellery in individual small plastic bags, as well as separate compartments in your jewellery box.
Never dip any silver jewellery in 'dip' solutions or commercial cleaning solutions even though it may say that it is for silver jewellery. You can use an Ultrasonic cleaning device with soap.
